WARRANTY POLICY

PRODUCT WARRANTY

TPIWATCHES.COM provides warranty coverage of 12 months from the date of purchase on all of its brand name watches. Our warranty covers the watch movement and manufacturing defects for the time period stated and EXCLUDES:

Finishes such as (but not limited to) scratches, nicks, coatings, etc.

  • Crystal or glass damage
  • Straps such as (but not limited to) leather, fabric or rubber
  • Damage due to wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the manufacturer’s water-resistant rating.
  • Damage due to physical shock and/or accidental abuse, damage to the mechanism of the watch due to rough use, dropping, banging etc.
  • Damage to the crown and mechanism (e.g. broken crowns, bent crowns or crown stems, disconnected crowns, snapped-off crowns).
  • The warranty is void if the watch has been tampered with. It is fairly easy for the service center to tell if the watch is not working or damaged due to user action or if the watch has been tampered with.

In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your watch during the warranty period, the watch would need to be sent back to us for service. Upon inspection, if we determine that that the service required is a relatively simple fix such as a regulation or similar, we will have the watch serviced by one of our trusted independent watchmakers. We have contracted highly qualified independent watchmakers who are capable of correcting these relatively simple issues.

However, if upon inspection we determine that the service required is of a more serious nature, we will actually have the watch returned to the respective manufacturer through our authorized dealers. The only issue with sending a watch back to the manufacturer is the lead time. Unfortunately, the manufacturers can take a minimum of anywhere between 4-8 weeks to repair a watch, possibly even longer if parts are back ordered.

In case your watch requires repair or servicing, you can send the watch back to us and we will help to deliver back for repairing it and send it back to you. You only have to pay for the shipping charges. For watches shipped with manufacturer warranty cards, if for any reason your local service center cannot repair the watch, you can send it to us for servicing.

Shipping and insurance expenses for warranty returns from the customer to TPIWATCHES.COM must be covered by the customer. Returns should be shipped via traceable courier, e.g. FedEx… The shipment must be pre-paid and should be fully insured. Collect shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damages the customer is liable.

All warranty returns must have a Return Authorization No. (RMA#). This number will be issued by our service center. A watch returned without authorization will be refused. Please include a copy of your invoice and/or a detailed letter indication the problem, the return address, contact phone numbers and email address.
